The Shawl Collar Blazer Dress was created entirely by draping on the stand
Wadding was used in layers to pad out the hips and create the dramatic hourglass silhouette.
Gown bodice was created by draping on the stand.
Neckline of gown was drafted directly onto the toile whilst on the stand.
Organza was initially planned to be draped over the shoulder in an elegant, soft gather. Final garment did not have this feature, as a stronger, more tailored look was preferred.
